Job summary

Haven Home Care Inc. is expanding in Eastern Ohio and seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to perform supervisory visits, complete open visits, and conduct pre-employment testing for Home Health Aide candidates.

This is a per-visit role associated with growing client base and flexible scheduling. The position involves no skilled nursing care or medical assessments, with travel to Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull counties and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing.
• Current Ohio LPN license in good standing.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance that covers driving for work.
• Current CPR certification.
• Successful completion of criminal background check, skills test, and written nursing test.
• Residence in Trumbull or Mahoning County preferred.

Responsibilities

• Documentation: Prepare accurate and thorough documentation according to agency standards and regulatory requirements.
• Supervisory and Open Visits: Conduct regular supervisory visits every 60 days to check on Home Health Aides and complete open visits for new clients.
• Pre-Employment Testing: Conduct skills tests and written tests for Home Health Aide candidates.
