Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN in Georgia with current BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care and intervention.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments and collaborates with the physician to develop a plan of care.
• Documents nursing interventions and implements physician orders in a timely manner.
• Administers and documents medication regimes.
• Maintains infection control and safety practices and patient confidentiality.
• Plans patient care priorities and coordinates care with MOAs and other staff.
• Precepts nursing students or new staff and supports cross-training as needed.
