Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN in the State of Georgia; BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Successful completion of nursing skills checklist.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s physical and emotional needs and provide appropriate care.
• Perform the initial assessment on arrival and develop a care plan with the Physician.
• Document nursing interventions and communicate plans through written and verbal reports.
• Administer medications and document the medication regime.
• Identify and implement infection control and safety practices.
• Organize patient care and set priorities by addressing acute needs and following Physician orders.
