Job summary

Complete Care at Harrington Court is seeking a dedicated LPN Licensed Practical Nurse to support residents across 2nd shift, weekend shifts, or part-time blocks. The role emphasizes medication administration, wound care, and collaborative care planning.

You will monitor physical and mental health, document progress, and participate in family education and care coordination with physicians, therapists, and other staff.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Connecticut.
• Pass background check, drug screen, and professional references.
• Ability to provide care across 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications (oral, topical, IV where applicable).
• Wound care and skin care, pain management, dressings.
• Monitor health status and analyze data for changes.

(Direct Care)

• Full Time 2nd Shift

• Part Time 3rd Shift

• Weekends Only 2nd Shift

• PRN Accepted with Experience

• 2nd Shift & Weekend Differential Pay

• Overtime Pay after 8hrs

Here’s What You’ll Do for Our Residents:

Administer Medications: Give oral, topical, IV, injectable medications

Wound/Skin Care: Perform wound care/prevention, manage pain, apply dressings

Monitoring: Observe physical and mental health status- track changes & analyze data

Clinical Procedure: Provide catheter/ostomy care, gather specimens etc.

Care Planning: Assist in executing individualized care

Collaboration: Strategize care with physicians, therapists, social workers & others

Family & Resident Education: Explain health status, changes and expectations for care

Documentation: Keep a detailed record of health status, all care, progress & interactions

Team Oversight: Oversee & delegate CNA’s ensuring quality care/teamwork
