Alden of Huntley is seeking registered nurses and licensed practical nurses to join our team. We offer a comprehensive orientation, EMR and pharmacy training, and a path to quality patient care for diverse skill levels from skilled nursing to memory care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a RN or LPN in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• Must possess current CPR certificate or become certified within two weeks of employment.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Demonstrates interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when warranted.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers, family members, visitors, personnel, government agencies, and the public.
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel.
• Must be personable, enthusiastic, and resourceful.

Responsabilités

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct nursing care for the unit.
• Directly supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care and adherence to policies.
• Ensure established policies and dress code are followed.
• Assist in developing a written care plan for each customer.
• Attend care plan conferences and participate in reviews.
• Report concerns to the Administrator and document concerns.
• Chart notes reflecting care provided and patient response.
• Complete admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Place orders for medications and treatments within budgetary guidelines.
