Alden of Huntley is actively seeking qualified registered nurses (RN) or licensed practical nurses (LPN) to join our modern rehabilitation and nursing facility in Huntley, IL. Competitive hourly wages are offered for RN and LPN positions, with comprehensive orientation and intensive training to ensure success.

We provide tuition reimbursement and uniforms, plus a structured onboarding program including EMR and pharmacy training.

Qualifikationen

• Current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• Current CPR certificate or able to obtain within two weeks.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Interest and/or knowledge in care of the aged.
• English literacy (read/write/speak).
• Ability to make independent decisions.
• Ability to deal tactfully with customers, family, staff and others.
• Leadership and supervisory ability.
• Personable, enthusiastic, resourceful.

Aufgaben

• Plan and supervise day-to-day nursing activities according to policy.
• Directly supervise the Ladies and Gentlemen of Alden on topics to promote job knowledge.
• Ensure adherence to departmental policies and dress code.
• Develop care plans identifying customer problems/needs.
• Attend care plan conferences and report concerns to Administrator.
• Chart nursing notes reflecting care and patient response.
• Complete admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Review medication records for accuracy.
• Coordinate with physicians and other staff for patient care.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
