You will care for residents across skill levels—from skilled nursing to memory and long-term care—while adhering to standards and providing compassionate, quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL or WI.
• CPR certification current or obtained within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and elderly care.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to make independent decisions when needed.
• Ability to interact professionally with patients, families and staff.
• Must demonstrate leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Energetic, personable, and resourceful.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and supervise nursing assistants.
• Ensure care adheres to policies and safety standards.
• Develop and implement care plans with the care team.
• Supervise staff and ensure policy compliance and dress code.
• Document care, assessments, and progress.
• Coordinate medications and collaborate with physicians.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a warm, supportive department atmosphere.
• Attend continuing education and participate in rounds.
• Complete accident/incident reports.
