Villa At Rose City is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their team in Rose City, Michigan. The LPN will provide licensed nursing care, document care, and support CNAs while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations across shifts.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification required.
• Active license to practice as LPN in Michigan.
• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides licensed care to assigned residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with facility, federal, state and local standards.
• Maintains and ensures a clean and sanitary work area, resident care rooms and treatment areas.
• Directs and supervises the day-to-day CNA services for the unit.
• Provides resident assessments/observations and reviews care plans.
• Takes and records vital signs and administers medications/treatments as ordered.
• Charts nurse’s notes and reports resident response to care.
• Completes admission, transfer and discharge forms.
• Ensures safety by addressing hazards and creating a safe environment.
• Communicates shift reports and recommendations to the team.
• Implements and updates care plans as per IDT recommendations.
• All other duties, as assigned.
