Job summary

Villa Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Westland location. The LPN assumes responsibility for a group of residents per shift, delivering licensed nursing care and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include a Michigan LPN license, current CPR certification, and strong communication skills. Prior long-term care experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits through full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification is required.
• Active LPN license in the state of Michigan.
• 1 year experience in nursing is preferred; long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered and per regulations.
• Maintain clean and sanitary care areas and equipment.
• Direct and supervise certified nursing assistant services.
• Complete assessments, observe, and document resident care.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physician.
