Job summary

Villa At the Park is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team in Michigan. The LPN will assume responsibility for a group of residents during a shift, delivering care per physician orders and regulatory standards.

The role requires current LPN licensure in the state, CPR certification, and a willingness to work a flexible schedule. Prior long-term care experience is preferred and opportunities for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification required.
• Possess a current license to practice in the State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• 1 year of experience preferred; Long-Term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide licensed care to residents as ordered by physician and in accordance with standards.
• Provide and receive nursing reports during shift handover.
• Maintain clean and sanitary work areas and treatment rooms.
• Direct and supervise day-to-day CNA services on assigned unit.
• Perform resident assessments/observations and review care plans.
• Take vital signs, administer IV therapy, and provide respiratory care as ordered.
• Transcribe physician orders to charts/MAR and document care.
• Prepare and administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Document nurse notes reflecting care and resident response.
• Complete forms on admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Ensure safety and address potential hazards in resident environment.
• Provide written and oral shift reports; contribute to care plan changes.
