Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pensacola, FL is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work with an adult patient in Gulf Breeze, FL. Shifts include days and nights with weekend rotations and October start for some night shifts.

The role requires active LPN licensure in the state, current BLS, TB/X-ray, and preferred 1 year of nursing experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision and PTO. Competitive weekly pay and 401(k) plans are offered.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• TB or Chest X-Ray current.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data from health care members and document nursing diagnoses.

Skills needed: Adult, G-Tube, Medication Administration, Total Care, Bowel & Bladder regimen.

Shifts: Every Fri/Sat/Mon & every other Sun 7a-7p.

Wed/Thurs nights 7p-7a beginning in October.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
