Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Miami is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home pediatric care. You will perform nursing assessments, develop care plans, and deliver skilled services under physician orders.

Qualifications

• Licensed as an LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs of physiologic and psychosocial changes in patients.
• Collect and interpret data and document nursing diagnoses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
