Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Pensacola, FL seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to care for a pediatric patient in the patient’s own home in Freeport, FL. This role offers full-time night or part-time day options with rotating weekends and rotating shifts 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

Requirements include an active LPN/LVN license in the state, current TB/X-ray result, and a current BLS card; one year of pediatric nursing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state of practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Shifts needed: 1-2 Days per week 7a-7p and 3-4 nights/wk 7p-7a (rotating weekends)
