Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Daphne, AL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide home health care for an adult patient in the patient’s own home.

The role may involve future Trach/Vent responsibilities. Shifts are PRN Days & Nights (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with competitive pay of $40/hr for days and $45/hr for nights, plus benefits including health/dental/vision, HSA, life insurance, PTO and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS certification.
• One year of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient.
• Collect, analyze, and document health data and potential nursing diagnoses.

Skills: Adult, G-Tube, Medication Administration. Possibility of Trach/Vent skill needed in the future.

Shifts: PRN Days & Nights - 7a-7p or 7p-7a.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred
