Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Pensacola, FL seeks licensed practical nurses (LPN/LVN) to provide pediatric home health care for a patient in Freeport, FL. We offer full-time night shifts and part-time day shifts, with rotating weekends.

Shifts include 7a-7p and 7p-7a; duties cover nursing process, assessments, and coordinating care. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are provided. Requirements: active LPN/LVN license in Florida, current TB or chest X-ray, BLS, and prior nursing experience

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

We have needs for Full-Time Nights and Part-Time Days.

Shifts needed: 1-2 Days per week 7a-7p and 3-4 nights/wk 7p-7a (rotating weekends)
