Qualifications

• Active LPN license (Illinois)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days
• 1+ year of LPN work experience

Responsibilities

• Passes all medications and documents assessments after the RN's initial evaluation
• Hangs IV piggybacks and fluids; monitor patient responses
• Perform dressing changes and assist with trach, NG tube, and ostomy care
• Communicate with physicians to receive orders and coordinate care
• Support discharge instructions and patient education
