Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an LPN for NT7 Digestive Surgical Unit in a high-acuity setting. You will assist with medications, IV therapies, and coordinated care with RNs in an intensive surgical environment.

You will work under RN supervision on a 43-bed unit, focusing on digestive surgical patients and postoperative care, including wound care and discharge education. The unit values collaboration and continuous learning within a Magnet-designated system.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with Illinois IDFPR license.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• At least 1 year of LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Passes medications and hangs IV piggybacks.
• Charts assessments and care plans with RN input.
• Assist with dressing changes, trach care, NG tube and ostomy care.
