Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for a 12-hour shift in Manson, North Carolina. This on-site role features day shifts with competitive pay and travel stipends for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include providing direct patient care under RN/physician supervision, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and documenting care in the EMR. Minimum 1 year LPN experience and active NC license required.

Qualifications

• Current, valid NC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year of recent LPN experience within the last 3 years.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the licensing board if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection and other basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Follow facility infection control protocols and regulatory standards.

Travel Pay:

Travel Rate (based 36 hours): Hourly $18.03, Stipend (Lodging $693.00 + M&I $329.00) = $1,022.00

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as aLPN within the last 3 years.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
