Job summary

Health Advocates Network, Inc. seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Laurinburg, North Carolina. The role offers a local pay rate of $39.00 per hour (W-2) and travel pay options based on 36 hours.

Night shifts are available, with 12-hour shifts and potential travel stipends for qualified candidates. Ideal applicants hold an NC license, 1+ year of LPN experience, and required certifications (BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Qualifications

• Current, valid NC license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum of 1+ year of recent LPN experience.
• Copy of Primary Source Verification (PSV) from licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in condition.
• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.
• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and basic nursing procedures.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.
• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as aLPN within the last 3 years.
• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
