HAN Staff is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Laurinburg, North Carolina. Local pay is $39.00/hour (W2). Travel pay includes hourly $18.03, lodging $693 and meals $329, totaling $1,022, with total comp $1,671.08.

Join our team to deliver high-quality patient care in a secure correctional setting. Shift: 12hr, Day shift. Requires NC license, 1+ year LPN experience, PSV, BLS, and vaccination records. Benefits include health/dental/vision/LTD, 401(k), and travel stipends.

Qualifications

• Active NC license/certification in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience within the last 3 years.
• Provide PSV copy if required by licensing board.
• Maintain current certifications and compliance documents (e.g., BLS, N95 fit test, immunizations, TB test).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Assist with patient assessments and care plans.
• Perform wound care and basic nursing procedures.
• Document care accurately in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance.
• Assist with admissions, discharges, transfers.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Follow infection control and regulatory standards.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.

• Monitor and record patients' vital signs and report changes in condition.

• Assist with patient assessments and implement individualized care plans.

• Perform wound care, specimen collection, and other basic nursing procedures.

• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and treatment plans.

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients.

• Follow facility policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, valid, and unrestrictedNC license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.

• Minimum of 1+ year of recent experience as aLPN within the last 3 years.

• Copy of current, completedPrimary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.

• Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., .BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test,).
