Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Pulaski, VA is seeking a Patient Services Coordinator - Clinical to schedule home visits for field staff and coordinate patient care under the Clinical Manager.

Requires active LPN/LVN or RN license in the state, 1+ year healthcare administrative and scheduling experience, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in-office with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment.
• 1+ years of scheduling experience in a healthcare environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required by the business.
• Possess a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and required automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

• Schedules patient assessment visits, Oasis visits, and maintains timely clinician schedules.
• Prepares weekly clinician schedules and reviews capacity to maximize productivity.
• Ensures clinicians are assigned efficiently by geography and skill match.
• Schedules missed visits or escalates to Clinical Manager for resolution.
• Communicates with patients and field staff to resolve scheduling issues.
• Monitors hospitalized patients and ensures follow-up as needed.
• Completes requested schedules including orders and services.
• Assists with referrals, intake processes, and coordination with care centers.
