Lutheran Senior Services is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide and coordinate nursing care for residents in Missouri. The role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, administering medications, and ensuring regulatory compliance and documentation.

The LPN will monitor IV therapy where certified, maintain EMR documentation, and uphold safety and quality care standards while supporting staff and residents in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Experience or specialization in gerontological nursing is preferred.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within licensure scope and adherent to policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to plan individualized resident care.
• Administer medications and monitor IV fluids and treatments.
• May initiate IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Document care plans and assessments accurately in EMR.
• Ensure safety and comfort of residents and supervise staff as assigned.
• Report incidents following regulatory requirements.
• Assist with maintaining regulatory compliance and quality care standards.
• Coordinate with other services to maintain continuity of care.
• Support education and role modeling for staff on best practices.
