Job summary

Lutheran Senior Services is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care and coordinate services for residents in Webster Groves, Missouri. The role requires an active LPN license in the state and CPR certification.

The LPN will work with an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans and ensure regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include medication administration, IV monitoring, EMR documentation, and collaboration with staff to maintain quality care.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Specialized training or experience in gerontological nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act; maintains an active license.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to define individualized plans of care; supports regulatory compliance.
• Administers and oversees medications and treatments; monitors IV fluids and nourishments as ordered.
• Initiates IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Maintains documentation and uses EMR per policy and procedures.
• Coordinates with resident services to ensure continuity of care and documents medical information.
• Maintains a safe environment by assessing hazards and ensuring safety.
• Oversees certified staff to meet EverTrue standards of care and services.
• Reports incidents and supports investigative protocols per regulations.
