Lutheran Senior Services in Missouri is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide and coordinate direct resident care within the scope of nursing practice, ensuring physical, psychosocial, and functional needs are met.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, administer medications, monitor IV therapy where certified, document in the EMR, and help maintain a safe, compassionate environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in state of practice.
• CPR certification is required.
• Gerontological nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within licensure scope and follow state Nurse Practice Act.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to define plans of care and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Administer medications and monitor IV fluids, nutrition, and treatments.
• May initiate IV therapy if IV-certified.
• Document care and maintain EMR records accurately.
• Observes resident status and coordinates with services to ensure continuity of care.
