Lutheran Senior Services in Missouri seeks an LPN to provide and coordinate care for residents, following licensure rules and professional standards. The role supports a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and uses electronic medical records for documentation.

The position requires an active LPN license, CPR certification, and a preference for gerontological nursing experience. Weekend and evening shifts may be required, with comprehensive pay and benefits described in the posting.

Qualifications

• LPN licensure in state of practice.
• Must be CPR certified.
• Specialized training or experience in gerontological nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act.
• Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary team to define plans of care.
• Passes medications and oversees medication ordering/administration.
• Administers medications and treatments and monitors IV fluids and nutritional support.
• Utilizes electronic medical records for documentation.
• Observes resident status and coordinates with resident services to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains a safe, comfortable environment and supports safety practices.
• Oversees certified staff to ensure EverTrue standards of care.
