Job summary

The North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking a Field Supervisor to oversee License Plate Agencies (LPAs) statewide. You will supervise operations, investigate complaints, and counsel LPAs on SOPs and contract provisions.

Travel may be required to inspect sites and resolve issues. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination, and has knowledge of Chapter 20 and motor vehicle laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in public and business administration, working knowledge of Chapter 20 and motor vehicle laws.
• Ability to communicate policy and procedures to diverse clientele with clarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee License Plate Agencies (LPAs) across North Carolina.
• Investigate customer complaints and counsel LPAs on SOPs and contract provisions.
• Assist with LPA investigations and represent the Division in subpoenas as required.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports using MS Office and databases.
