Job summary

IES Communications in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Solutions Engineer to provide internal and customer process analytics and support the sales team with customer-facing services and solutions. The role includes day-to-day pre-construction deliverables and requests.

Qualified candidates will have 4–7 years in telecommunications or related fields, strong problem solving and communication skills, and the ability to read blueprints. Travel within the branch/regional territory is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project documents.
• Strong written and oral communication; capable of giving presentations.
• 4–7 years of experience in telecommunications or related technical/construction field; driving ability.

Responsibilities

• Design low-voltage solutions for clients and assist in pre-construction deliverables.
• • Act as liaison between sales, project management and operations during project turnover.
• Provide technical and engineering information to customers by answering questions and requests.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing information from site visits and customer meetings.
