Job summary

IES Communications in Tempe, AZ is seeking an experienced Project Manager (Low Voltage) for Hyperscale Data Centers. This role leads a team of professionals, drives safety, quality, and financial performance, and ensures projects are developed, installed, and delivered to contract specifications.

Travel is required 100% as part of managing on-site execution. Applicants should have five years of supervisory or managerial telecom/construction experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a High School diploma or GED equivalency; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• RCDD certification preferred.
• Must have experience in customer interface, such as liaison between the customer and the Company.
• Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in telecommunications or a related technical or construction field.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).
• Must meet Company minimum driving standards.
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
• Must have demonstrated verifiable ability to define a project, create a project scope of work, develop detailed tasks and manage to completion.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, manage staff and evaluate performance.
• Manage workload distribution and monitor delivery and installation progress.
• Plan for and monitor project profitability to meet company goals.
• Review job costs, invoices and financial reporting to customers and management.
• Oversee quality and safety issues on customer work.
• Participate in and/or facilitate the bid process.
• Act as liaison with customer representatives.
• Develop and implement account process improvements.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
