Wachter, Inc. is seeking a Low Voltage Service Technician to support service and installation projects across the United States. You will install and troubleshoot low voltage cabling, including data and telecom systems, in commercial settings while traveling as needed.

Responsibilities include running cabling, testing systems, and maintaining safety standards. A valid driver’s license and relevant certifications enhance candidacy; company benefits and vehicles may be provided after initial

Qualifications

• Experience with low voltage cabling in commercial buildings.
• Knowledge of CAT5e, fiber optic, and network cabling.
• Ability to identify color codes and color schemes.
• On-site problem solving and independent work capability.
• Flexibility to travel and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain cabling infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings; drill walls and conduit work.
• Keep cables neat and bundled per safety standards.
• Install cable support structures (j-hooks, racks, innerduct).
• Test systems to verify operation and troubleshoot network issues.
