Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Available for extensive travel, up to 6 to 8 weeks at a time.
• Experience in CCTV installations and troubleshooting.
• Ability to consistently complete projects within budget and on time.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of various cabling infrastructure.
• Run low voltage cabling in commercial buildings.
• Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed cable systems are operational.
• Adhere to all required project safety requirements.
• Perform on-the-job training for CCTV.

Skills

Data Cable Technician with CAT5e experience

Experience in low voltage cabling

Excellent customer relationship skills

Knowledge of industry standards (NEC, TIA/EIA, BICSI)

Experience reading blueprints and site maps

Ability to operate a BOOM or scissor lift

Education

Industry-specific certifications (BICSI, Systimax, etc.)
