Job summary

Wachter is seeking a Low-Voltage Cable Technician to perform hands-on installations and lead small teams on multi-week projects. The role involves extensive travel, setting up and maintaining structured cabling, CCTV, and network devices, with a focus on safety and on-time delivery.

We value leadership, reliability, and the ability to work independently across sites. Earn $25–$35/hour with full-time benefits including paid vacation and per-diem when overnight travel is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years hands-on experience in low-voltage systems
• Experience leading small teams on multi-week projects
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling, CCTV and network devices

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems (Cat5/6, fiber, coax)
• Carry out conduit installation and terminations in IDF/MDF cabinets
• Set up CCTV and network devices
• Lead small project teams to meet timelines and budgets
• Read blueprints and site maps
• Operate aerial lifts (BOOM/scissor) up to 40+ feet
• Perform testing and ensure safety/industry compliance
• Maintain accurate client and team communication
