IES is a national provider of industrial products and infrastructure services across electrical, mechanical, and communications contracting solutions. The Department Manager will supervise a team to deliver efficient staffing, materials management, financial oversight, and customer delivery goals.

The role requires 7+ years of supervisory experience and 5+ years in telecommunications or related fields. Strong MS Office skills, blueprint reading, and travel within the branch/region are expected

Qualifikationen

• Minimum seven years of supervisory or managerial experience.
• Minimum five years in telecommunications or related technical/construction field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project).
• Able to read blueprints and project documents.
• Able to travel within branch or regional territory as needed.
• Able to manage multiple tasks/projects and supervise multiple direct reports.

Aufgaben

• Supervise, recruit, hire, train, and discipline department staff in line with company policies.
• Provide guidance to meet department goals and objectives.
• Manage workload distribution and project profitability to meet company goals.
• Oversee scopes of work including structured cable, AV, security, life safety, estimating, or BIM.
• Participate in bid processes and ensure quality and safety in customer work.
• Act as liaison with customer representatives and drive process improvements.
