Job summary

Esi Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to train under a senior Project Manager, gaining hands-on supervision and technical management of electrical construction projects from bidding to close-out.

You will shadow PMs, learn contract administration, and coordinate scheduling, budgeting, and submittals to ensure successful project delivery. Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years' PM/PE experience or equivalent, and a 5-year electrical apprenticeship or construction

Qualifications

• 5-year electrical apprentice program or a bachelor's degree in construction engineering management or related field.
• 2-3 years' experience in a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites from bid preparation through job close out documentation.
• Shadow and be mentored by a full Project Manager during training.
• Understand contract terms, pricing methods, and closeout requirements.
• Coordinate pre-job meetings, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Support change orders, submittals, and communications to ensure timely project delivery.
