Job summary

Esi Electrical Contractors, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking an Electrical Construction Assistant Project Manager.

The role involves training under a senior Project Manager and assisting in supervising and managing electrical construction projects from bid preparation through closeout documentation, while developing the skills needed for independent project leadership. You will help with pre-job meetings, manpower planning, budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, procurement, quality and safety

Qualifications

• Completion of a 5-year electrical apprenticeship or related bachelor's degree.
• 2-3 years' experience as Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager.
• Leadership experience in a field environment (preferred).
• Experience in the construction industry (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist in providing overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites.
• Support bid preparation through job close out documentation.
• Coordinate with project team to manage budgets, schedules, and change orders.
• Ensure contract awareness and effective communication with stakeholders.
