Overview

The lou/na Concierge creates the first impression of the dining experience by providing a warm and professional welcome to guests. This role ensures smooth seating operations, efficient reservation management, and seamless communication with dining room and kitchen staff to support excellent guest service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests upon arrival, escort them to tables, and provide menus.
  • Schedule dining reservations, arrange parties, and coordinate special services for diners.
  • Adjust and resolve guest complaints as directed by a supervisor.
  • Assign and coordinate tasks for dining room staff to ensure prompt, courteous, and fair service.
  • Inspect serving stations for neatness and cleanliness; requisition linens and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure menus are clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Notify servers of new tables and communicate with line cooks on large party arrivals.
  • Train and mentor dining room employees as needed, including scheduling work hours and maintaining time records.
  • Assist in planning menus, preparing beverages, and expediting food orders when necessary.
  • Handle end-of-shift responsibilities such as totaling receipts, clearing the register, and collecting payments.
  • Other duties as assigned.
