Job summary

Peohe's of Coronado is seeking a Lead Reservationist to join our Front-of-House team. You will lead the host team, manage reservations, and coordinate with the kitchen to optimize table turns while ensuring guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Be friendly, accommodating and respectful to guests.
• Team player with a guest-first attitude.
• 2+ years of OpenTable experience.
• Prior restaurant front-of-house experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support host team to ensure smooth Front-of-House operations.
• Manage guest flow, seating rotations, and wait times during peak shifts.
• Handle reservations, special requests, celebrations, dietary needs, and large parties.
• Train and develop new hosts on service standards and OpenTable usage.
• Coordinate with management and kitchen staff to optimize table turns and guest satisfaction.
• Address guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed.
• Availability to work 365 days, including holidays and weekends.
• Full-time position with 30+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead & support host team to ensure smooth Front-of House operations
• Manage guest flow in the dining room, seating rotations, & wait times during high volume shifts to ensure efficiency in service & balanced server sections
• Manage reservations; special requests such as celebrations or dietary needs, & large party accommodations
• Train & develop new hosts on service standards & OpenTable reservation system
• Coordinate with management & kitchen staff to optimize table turns & ensure guest satisfaction
• Handle guests concerns professionally & involve management when needed
• We are open 365, required to work during peak volume including Holidays & weekends
• Full time 30+ hours

• Have prior restaurant experience (preferred)
