Job summary

Cox/Manheim is hiring for a Lot Operations Supervisor in Michigan to direct the daily vehicle check-in process, coordinating drivers and the workflow from check-in to sale staging. You will supervise staff, manage vehicle placement, and ensure safety and policy adherence on the lot.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with related experience; shift is Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm, pay range $15.10–$22.69 per hour, with eligibility for additional compensation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with related work experience; education level may be supplemented by degrees/certifications above HS when applicable.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily operation of vehicle check-in area; lead drivers and coordinate workflows.
• Oversee lot operations to move vehicles from check-in to sale staging.
• Ensure proper receiving, stocking, numbering and parking of incoming vehicles.
• Provide quality service and resolve customer issues.
• Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment and ensure it is functional.
• Supervise lot operations staff; assign duties, monitor performance, and enforce policies.
• Counsel and assist in employee performance appraisals as directed by supervisor.
• Organize vehicle placement within designated zones and respond to dashboards for move decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement for safety and efficient vehicle movement.
