Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to oversee vehicle movement, driver coordination, and on-site logistics. You will direct the daily workflow, assign tasks, and ensure timely shuttle services and vehicle transportation across locations.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a high school diploma or GED with relevant experience and a valid driver’s license; overtime may be necessary on busy sale days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus 3 years in related field, or 5 years in related discipline.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assign work to drivers and staff.
• Maintain vehicle movement logs and locations.
• Direct crew schedules and assignments.
• Transport vans and drivers to locations as scheduled.
• Ensure on-time pickup/drop-off of employees and vehicles.
• Shuttle employees between lots and remote sites.
• Coordinate transport to auction, parking lots, and customer sites.
• Perform daily van maintenance and basic servicing.
• Uphold safety policies and drive a safety-first culture.
• Review workload and staffing; drive continuous improvement.
• Lead by example and enforce company policies.
• Perform additional duties as needed; overtime may be required.
