Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. at Manheim Central is seeking a hands-on Supervisor, Lot Operations to lead vehicle check-in, inspection, imaging, staging, and lot movement for the auction process.

This on-site role combines VE/Inspection and Lot Ops responsibilities and requires active leadership, training, and adherence to safety standards. The position emphasizes data accuracy, customer service, and operational flow, with a focus on mentoring staff and maintaining sale readiness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; 5 years related experience or combination including Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD options.
• Strong communication skills across teams; advanced Excel skills for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vehicle check-in, inspection, and imaging functions.
• Direct data entry into AS400 and maintain condition reports.
• Lead lot operations: staging, vehicle flow, and movement to sale lanes.
• Provide coaching, training, and performance evaluation support.
• Plan staffing based on auction volume and KPI targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and auction policies.
