Job summary

Cox Automotive is seeking a Lot Operations Specialist II to oversee the daily vehicle check-in area and coordinate the movement of cars on the lot at a Cox location in Michigan. You will lead drivers, ensure efficient staging, and maintain vehicle placement per policy.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, inspecting equipment, and upholding safety standards while collaborating with supervisors to optimize performance and customer service. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate in a fast-paced lot environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple drivers and vehicle movements.
• Demonstrated record of safe driving and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily operation of the vehicle check-in area by leading and coordinating activities.
• Ensure efficient lot operation by moving vehicles from check-in to sale staging.
• Oversee that incoming vehicles are received, stocked, and parked correctly.
• Provide quality service and resolve customer issues as they arise.
• Inspect and maintain lot operations equipment to stay functional.

Education

High School Diploma/GED + 3 years related experience

Any degree or cert above HS + 1 year related

5 years related work experience
