Bass Pro Shops in Garland, TX seeks an Asset Protection Coordinator to oversee asset protection, security, compliance and safety within the store. The role reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager and will monitor and educate for best practices on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate/bachelor preferred in criminal justice or security.
• Previous security, asset protection, or retail inventory experience preferred.
• Certificates or licenses as required by local jurisdiction.
• Experience using CCTV, EAS and other physical security systems.
• First Aid/CPR/AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving training for Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security functions.
• Cascade directives and initiatives to store leadership and Outfitters.
• Provide exceptional customer service and observe for suspicious activity.
• Identify root causes of shrink via cycle counts, audits, and reports.
• Maintain and monitor security systems and safety programs.
