Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to monitor security, safety, and compliance within the store. The role includes on-floor support, directing asset protection initiatives, and collaborating with leadership to reduce shrink and ensure inventory accuracy.

The position requires strong investigative skills, experience with CCTV or security systems, and the ability to conduct risk assessments and investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor in Criminal Justice or related field.
• Certificates/licenses as required by local jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving training for shrink, safety, and security functions.
• Maintain and monitor asset protection directives with store leadership.
• Identify root causes of shrink via analysis of cycle counts and audits.
• Conduct investigations into criminal activity and policy violations as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports in a timely manner.
• Promote safety programs and participate on safety committees.
