Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to monitor and improve asset protection, security, and safety across a facility. The role involves on-floor presence, data analysis of shrink, and collaboration with leadership to ensure inventory accuracy.

The position emphasizes investigations, use of physical security systems, audits, and adherence to safety protocols. Travel is minimal, and the team focuses on educating Outfitters and guarding against losses.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Associate or Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field.
• Experience preferred in security, asset protection, and safety or retail inventory background.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving training and development for Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security functions.
• Cascades asset protection directives to store leadership and Outfitters.
• Demonstrate customer service while addressing suspicious activity on the floor.
• Identify root causes of shrink through analysis of cycle counts, audits, and compliance opportunities.
• Investigate over/short shipments and discrepancies between DC and store.
