Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to maintain and monitor asset protection, security, and safety within a facility. The role reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager and focuses on reducing shrink, inventory accuracy, and compliance while ensuring a safe environment for employees and customers.

The position involves on‑floor presence, education of best practices, investigation of incidents, and collaboration with leadership to enforce safety and security standards

Qualifications

• Experience conducting criminal or internal investigations.
• Experience using physical security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.).
• Experience conducting quality reviews/audits.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in driving training and development for Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security functions.
• Communicate directives and initiatives to store leadership and Outfitters.
• Interact with customers in a professional manner and monitor for suspicious activity.
• Analyze cycle counts and audits to identify root causes of shrink and discrepancies.
