Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to oversee security, safety, and compliance within the store. The role focuses on reducing shrink and maintaining inventory accuracy while educating Outfitters on best practices on the sales floor.

The candidate will analyze reports, observe operations, and maintain all asset protection systems. Strong communication and investigative skills are required, with occasional travel and the ability to testify in investigations.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred degrees in Criminal Justice, Security Management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training Outfitters on shrink, safety and security functions.
• Disseminate asset protection directives to store leadership and Outfitters.
• Identify root causes of shrink via cycle counts and audits and investigate discrepancies.
• Investigate known loss, vendor compliance opportunities and report findings.
• Maintain physical security and merchandise protection standards on the sales floor.
