Job summary

Bass Pro Shops seeks an Asset Protection Coordinator to monitor asset protection, security, compliance, and safety within the store. The role reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager and emphasizes reducing shrink, protecting inventory, and educating staff on best practices.

The candidate will spend time on the sales floor, drive training for Outfitters, and investigate incidents while supporting a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting criminal or internal investigations.
• Experience using security systems (CCTV, EAS, etc.).
• Training and education in asset protection or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security practices.
• Monitor asset protection directives and communicate to store leadership.
• Provide customer service on the sales floor and respond to suspicious behavior.
• Analyze cycle counts and audits to identify shrink causes.
• Ensure security tools and procedures are followed and product is secured at purchase.
