The ideal candidate will have at least a high school diploma (AA preferred), prior retail supervision or loss prevention training, and a preferred active security guard license.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong communication; customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides visible \"command\" presence at store entrances/exits and on sales floor.
• Removes clutter and ensures safe egress to emergency exits.
• Greet customers with eye contact and professionalism; answer questions.
• Demonstrates courtesy, maintains store brand.
• Monitors for potential theft and supports Loss Prevention initiatives.
• Trains and educates associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
• Observes and validates proper checkout procedures.
