Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe and secure store environment, greet customers, and deter theft at entrances and on the floor. You will collaborate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention to minimize shortages and support brand integrity.

The role requires strong communication, customer service excellence, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail setting. A security license is preferred and adherence to Ross policies is essential.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required; AA degree preferred.
• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers.
• Provide visible presence and greet customers at entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Monitor for theft indicators and coordinate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention.
• Assist with compliance to loss prevention directives and minimize shortages.
• Represent Ross Stores and maintain professional appearance per dress code.
