Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe environment for associates and customers and deter theft at store entrances and on the floor.

You will work with store leadership to enforce policies, monitor for suspicious activity, and minimize operational shortage while upholding the Ross brand and dress code. The role requires at least one year in retail supervision or loss prevention, strong communication, and the ability to handle conflict in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• One year loss prevention/security training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with the Store team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proven ability to resolve conflict.
• Compliance with federal and state laws for security positions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers.
• Provide visible command presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Monitor for theft indicators and address safety issues as directed by Store Leadership.
• Collaborate with Store Leadership and Loss Prevention to minimize shortage.
• Represent the Ross brand and maintain professional appearance.
• Train and educate Associates on shortage reduction initiatives.
