Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Loss Prevention Specialist to maintain a safe and secure environment at our store entrances and throughout the sales floor. You will deter theft, greet customers, and partner with Store Leadership to enforce Loss Prevention directives while protecting the Ross treasure.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and excellent customer service as you support brand integrity and minimize operational shortages across the store.

Qualifications

• One year retail supervisor experience or similar training preferred.
• Active Security Guard License preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with store team.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts effectively.
• Compliance with federal and state laws for security positions.

Responsibilities

• Provides visible command presence at store entrances/exits and on the sales floor.
• Deters theft by monitoring activities and addressing potential issues.
• Greet customers and provide courteous, professional service.
• Partner with Store Leadership to comply with Loss Prevention directives and minimize shortages.
• Support store brand and professional appearance in all interactions.
• Assist with safety and security procedures and training as assigned.
